Our Free eye Sceenining camp was organized by BM/TPB Foundation at Manabsewa Ashram, Samakhusi, where the participants were street people residing under the care of the ashram. Most of the participants were elderly women. During the camp, free eye checkups were conducted, and reading glasses were also provided to those in need. The program aimed to improve their eye health, identify vision problems early, and enhance their quality of life.
Manabsewa Ashram, located in Samakhusi, Kathmandu, is a social organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and rehabilitation of people living on the streets. The ashram provides shelter, food, medical care, and emotional support to homeless and abandoned individuals, helping them regain dignity and hope in life.
The residents of the ashram are people who were previously living on the streets and are now under the care and protection of the Manabsewa Ashram team. The ashram’s dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly to meet their daily needs and promote their physical and mental well-being.
