Third Day of Free Eye Screening camp at Mirmi, Syangja

In Day 3, we have conducted our eye camp in Kaligandaki Hospital of Mirme, ward number 7 of Kaligandaki Rural Municipality, Syangja. In Day 3, our targeted participants were 150 but  total of 254 participated in the eye screening camp among which 138 of them were female and 116 of them were male population.

From the screening camp, different kind of eye related problem was identified in 249 out of 254 participants. Different kind of Cataract was identified among 49 participants. Other eye disease identified from the camp of Mirmi were Presbyopia, Dry Eye Syndrome, Pinguecula, Pterygium (PTR), Refractive error, Pseudophakia, Ocular Allergy, Hypermetropia, Absolute Eye, Corneal Scar, Accommodative Insufficiency, Nasolacrimal Duct Block (NLD), Sub Conjunctival Hemorrhage, Macular Scar, Posterior Capsule Opacity, Dry Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and Uveitis. 4 had to go for Surgery plan. 7 patient got reffered to the higher facilities for better treatments. 90 participants got free reading as prescribed by OAs.
